Kori and Craig Pre-Ceremony

Tiffany and Nathan’s Preparations

Tiffany and Nathan were married July 24, 2010 on a private farm in Hillsboro, OR. Nathan’s dad is one of my most favorite caterers, Claeys Catering, YUM! and how we met. He introduced me to his son, Nathan and bride-to-be, Tiffany and I was so happy that they hired me to photograph their incredible day. 12 bridesmaids, hot pink and black color scheme, huge party under a ginormous tent, farmland and a big red barn, and of course, FAB food hosted by Claeys Catering made for an adventurous and incredibly fun day. More posts of the day to come!

Amber & Jonathan Part Two; The Ceremony

Their emotions, laughter, tears, pure joy, were in abundance at this amazing ceremony. What an honor to be invited to be a witness to such a wonderful event!

Kori and Craig tie the knot Part One

Kori and Craig were married on a beautiful day, July 17, 2010 at a fun and fabulous location, The Kennedy School, in Portland, Oregon. There are several parts to this post too, so here’s Part One, Getting Ready.

Colors were greens, browns, whites

It was warm outside and so cool and nice inside, I asked the men if they would rather play some pool and cheers some drinks instead of going outside. What do you think they said?

Then the lovely ladies started their preparations

If you are not familiar with The Kennedy School, then let me explain. This used to be a school and then was renovated into a restaurant, spa, hotel, and more. So the chalkboards you see in the photos above and below are from the actual classrooms and if you choose to stay there, you can also draw on your wall too!

Kori, as you will find, has the most fantastic smile and laugh. She wore her emotions on her sleeve that day and you’ll see lots of laughter and tears, hence the blue kerchief above. As a photographer, but also just as a friend, I loved seeing her day through Her eyes, not just what my camera captured.

Part Two to come!

Holga from Samantha and Adam’s Wedding

This is one of the Holga images from their wedding and was a total accident. I took a photo and then forgot to forward the film, so when I took another image they were double exposed over each other. That’s one of the beautiful rewards with working with film, and in particular this camera. You never know what will come back from the lab!
